Holland Street, the luxury British ‘loungerie’ brand will be showcasing their ‘Carmen Camellia’ SS15 collection in the lingerie and swimwear rooms at London Fashion Week, 12-16th September 2014 at Somerset House.
The new collection consists of contempory kimonos, robes and kaftans, but it is the print designs that are the seeds of the brand. ‘Carmen Camellia’, celebrates an English country garden theme with 3 floral designs; Aurelia Rose, Lace Gardenia and Classic Camellia.
The prints are all initially hand drawn by the founder of Holland Street, Lauren Barfoot and digitalised in the SW London studio. The collection is designed using an innovative minimal waste manufacturing method and is produced entirely in Britain. The specialist digital printing allows for an unlimited colour palette and professional finish, ‘Carmen Camellia’ is printed onto luxurious 100% crepe de chine silk.
At Holland Street we believe our ‘loungerie’ is the perfect accompaniment to your relaxation routine. ‘Loungerie’ is a new category created at Holland Street to combine formal loungewear and the intimacy of lingerie. We encourage busy women to take time to chill out, let their minds switch off and practice mindfulness and meditation. What better way to personally boost your self esteem than relaxing in our beautifully crafted kimonos, robes and kaftans?
The Holland Street woman appreciates the characteristics of exclusive British manufacture; she values the
creativity of the prints on 100% pure silk and empathises with the ethos of the Holland Street brand. She is looking for something she can connect with and cherish for years to come.
Holland Street launched in 2014 and circulates around four business values, Creativity, Connection, Relaxation and Love. Founder Lauren Barfoot graduated from the Royal College of Art and worked as the print designer to Zandra Rhodes before launching the brand.
